An Accredited Provider is an organization that has made application to the PACJE Board of Judges and has demonstrated to the PACJE Board of Judges that its courses have consistently met the standards of quality and service to judges. Accredited Providers are granted presumptive approval for their CJE programs given that courses meet the standards.

The organization can submit a CJE Course Accreditation Request form located under the forms section of this website.
CJE credit hours are based on a 60 minute hour minimum. Credit will be recorded in thirty (30) minute increments beyond the first sixty minutes. One-half hour credit shall be awarded for courses scheduled at least thirty (30) minutes but less than sixty (60) minutes beyond the initial sixty (60) minutes and for each half hour scheduled thereafter but does not include breaks, meals, or introductions (e.g. 60 or 75 minute program = 1 credit hour; 90 minute program - 1.5 credit hours).
Accredited Providers shall notify the PA CJE Board of Judges of upcoming CJE activities (ideally thirty (30) days prior) using the Course Notification form. Course information is entered into the PA CJE's online database of upcoming activities and made available to potential attendees on the Course Search page of this website.
